Great idea! I'm thinking pipe cleaners would be a better idea for threading/fine motor skills compared to wool... I have all these old laminated sheets of cardboard/posters from my primary teaching days that I was going to throw out but might punch random holes in them and get pipe cleaners to do this! love it. xo
That looks like a wonderful morning's activity Steph! My girls would spend hours posting milk bottle lids into a slot cut in the top of an old formula tin. It's amazing what can occupy them! Yours looks much more attractive than our game!
What a great idea...my 14mth old loves to put things into little holes, I must remember this for when he is a bit older :)
Hi Steph, just wanted to thank you for the gorgeous pressie that you sent me. I totally love it, and it's the perfect size for my handbag.
Thankyou so so much!

Oh don't forget to teacher her how to wrap them around a pencil in a spiral, then pull away & da dah, a spring!! I bought a $16 barrell of pipe cleaners )for my 9 year olds, get used to it, the thrill of a pipe cleaner never ceases) & it kept them occupied for months!! Love Posie
buttons and pipe cleaners - sounds (and looks) like a whole lot of fun!
Looks like a fun morning:)
She is so cute. YOu have inspirred me to clean out the kids toys - getting there (does throwing everything on the spae bed so I can Vacum and clean the carpet count as sorting:)
oh how absolutely adorable!!! I used old cotton reels for the kids to poke pipe cleaners through - such a great concentration game!!! You are such a super, wonderful, crafty mumma teaching your girl all these wonderful experiences... Hope you got some time propped on the couch with a mag and a cuppa xx
Oh that looks like so much fun! The pipe cleaner is so entertaining. I received you little gift in the mail today! Thank you so much. You're such a sweetheart!

my daughter would love that too! But oh, she would most probably poke her own eyes out.... but have a lot of fun in the meantime?!
What a sweet little face, I miss these days....mine just seem to fight now!!
She is such a treasure, enjoy moments like these, they are truly precious.
Chat soon,
Kathy

Love the pipecleaners and big buttons, perfect for little hands!
Oh how cute! What a great activity! I still remember playing with my mum's button collection - which she still has now and would happily let me have, but I think she has better things to fill her suitcase with when she comes to visit from England!
(and they're for me to play with not my kids!! )
