Flea Market Finds - The Bed Head

Wispy tendrils of elegant steel...curls and whirls... curlicues and flowers....

Delicate details to carry my little angel safely and sweetly to the land of nod.

Room for generous piles of vintage Golden Books and warm Milo...billowy sheets to make voluminous mushrooms....

Some day, besties flicking through the pages of Dolly magazine and innocently and wide eyed pondering love and all its many mysteries.

Even in it's most raw state it it still a thing of such beauty to me. Lovingly tended to over many days this bed head will be transformed. Oh how I adore a diamond in the rough! Shine on!!

What delicious things have been re-discovered this week?

I've never discovered anything that delicious. My dream is to find a really sweet gate on the nature strip one day. I would love to use one for a bed head. My latest treasures are courtesy of a very sweet old lady at our oppy who cheerfully sells me the loveliest baskets for a dllar each. Great big, thick washing basket $1 and the sweetest vintage picnic basket today for 50 cents. I know she's not meant to but she says I'm a good regular so she does when the boss isn't looking. Steph, how is it that you go to the op shop and find such beautiful things and I go and I just find... junk. Just another thing that I don't have an eye for!!! Or, maybe my op shops aren't all that!? x
